Comparisons to past efforts like Netflix's "Drive to Survive" and their impact on F1's popularity.

Let’s talk about what’s REALLY going on in Washington, D.C.—and spoiler alert, it’s not just about cherry blossoms and monuments. The federal layoffs are hitting hard, and it’s reshaping the housing market faster than you can say “inventory surge.”

In this episode, I’m breaking down:

Why 59% of agents still haven’t worked with clients impacted by federal layoffs—and why that might be the calm before the storm.
What’s causing buyers and sellers to suddenly list properties—and how “DOGE regrets” might be playing a (hilariously sad) role.
The jaw-dropping rise in listings in D.C.—up over 40% year-over-year—compared to a much flatter national curve.
The emotional drivers behind listings: from family and retirement to job shifts and lifestyle changes.
Which segments—condos or single-family homes—are getting hit the hardest by this reshuffling.
What this massive surge in inventory means for buyers trying to get a deal—and for sellers trying to stand out.

This isn’t just a data dump—it’s a look at the human side of a rapidly changing market in one of America’s most high-stakes real estate zones.

If you’ve ever asked what happens when government job cuts meet a housing market already on edge… this is the episode you can’t miss.
If you ever want to buy or sell a property anywhere in the world, our team would be honored to help get you to your next destination.

Until next time, stay curious, stay hungry, and as always…
stay ALL IN!

Hey, friends. You know I love a good list. And when The New York Times dropped their Top 100 Movies of the 21st Century, based on a massive poll of over 500 directors, actors, and critics… I had thoughts.

Big ones.

So in this episode, I’m diving deep into this beautifully curated, occasionally controversial cinematic canon—what made it in, what was left out, and what it says about us as people, storytellers, and watchers of the world.
We’ll talk about:
🎬 Why Bong Joon Ho’s "Parasite" topped the list—and why it absolutely deserves it
🚗 The high-octane magic of "Mad Max: Fury Road" (yes, it hit me in the chest too)
🌀 Why "Mulholland Drive" still messes with our heads—and that's the point
🌍 The rise of non-English language films and what that means for the future of storytelling
🍿 The surprising lack of Oscar Best Picture winners—and why being timeless doesn’t mean being safe
📱 The curious absence of streaming-only films, and what that says about how we still crave the big screen

This isn’t just a list—it’s a snapshot of who we are as a culture. What we value. What we return to. What we remember.

And if you love movies like I do (Denzel, if you're listening—you’re forever top 5), this episode’s for you.

If you ever want to buy or sell a property anywhere in the world, our team would be honored to help get you to your next destination.Until next time, stay curious, stay hungry, and as always…stay ALL IN!

Hey friends,
This episode’s not just big—it’s industry-shaking.

Compass just filed an antitrust lawsuit against Zillow. And as someone who lives and breathes real estate—and proudly reps Compass—I’m telling you: this one could reshape how every American buys and sells a home.

Here’s the scoop:
Zillow quietly rolled out a new 24-hour rule. If you publicly market a home—even just mention it—it must be on the MLS and on Zillow’s site within 24 hours. If not? The listing is banned from Zillow. Forever.

Think about that.
One company deciding whether your client’s home can be seen by the 227 million people who use their platform each month.

So Compass said no. Actually, they said hell no—and hit back with a federal antitrust lawsuit in New York.

In this episode, I’m breaking it all down:

What Zillow’s rule really means (and why it’s not as innocent as it sounds)
How Compass’s Private Exclusives empower clients, not hide homes
Why this lawsuit invokes the Sherman Antitrust Act—yep, the one that broke up Standard Oil
What’s really at stake here (spoiler: it’s not just listings—it’s the future of real estate tech)
And the three paths forward that could totally change our industry

Whether you’re a Compass agent, a seller who wants more control, or just someone who loves juicy real estate drama, this episode is your front-row seat.

This isn’t just about Compass vs. Zillow.
This is about innovation vs domination.
Options vs. monopolies.
And what kind of future we all want in this industry.

Let’s get into it.

If you ever want to buy or sell a property anywhere in the world, our team would be honored to help get you to your next destination.

Until next time, stay curious, stay hungry, and as always… stay ALL IN!

Hey it’s Amit—back with an episode that has the entire real estate world buzzing louder than a Ring doorbell on Halloween.

In case you missed it, Compass just dropped a legal bombshell on Zillow, filing an antitrust lawsuit that’s turning heads and shaking up the industry. And listen, as someone who lives and breathes Compass, this one hits home.

Here’s what’s happening: Zillow’s new rule says if you publicly market a home, you have to post it on the MLS, which means it’ll show up on Zillow—within one business day. No flexibility. No exceptions. No room for innovation like Compass’s Private Exclusives, where sellers can test the waters discreetly.

To me? That’s not just overreach. That’s a threat to the very thing that makes Compass different—giving clients real options and agents real tools.

So in this episode, I break down:

What this lawsuit is really about (hint: it’s deeper than just listings)
Why Private Exclusives are not some shady backroom thing—they’re a client-first strategy
What it means for YOU as an agent, seller, or even buyer
And why I stand 100% behind Compass’s decision to take this public and legal

This isn’t some legal drama you can ignore. It’s a real moment of truth for our industry—about choice, innovation, and who gets to call the shots in real estate.

If you care about your clients, your listings, and your freedom to work smart—not just cookie-cutter—you need to hear this.

If you ever want to buy or sell a property anywhere in the world, our team would be honored to help get you to your next destination.

Until next time, stay curious, stay hungry, and as always… stay ALL IN!

In a world of headlines shouting “crash!” and TikToks predicting “booms!”—it’s easy to forget the truth usually lives somewhere in the quiet middle. That’s why I love the Compass National Real Estate Insights report. It's not clickbait. It’s not fluff. It’s a real breakdown of what's happening in the U.S. housing market—and this June 2025 edition? Yeah, it dropped a few bombshells.
1. Buyer Confusion Is the Market’s Biggest EnemyAccording to Compass, volatility in political and economic headlines has created a “wait and see” mindset. People want to buy. But they’re scared. Rates might drop… or they might not. Inventory is tight… unless you’re in a price segment that’s flooded. It’s confusing.
And confused people don’t make offers. They scroll. They fantasize. But they wait.
2. Economic Uncertainty Has Spiked—AgainThe Economic Policy Uncertainty Index (yes, it’s a thing) just jumped. The last time it was this high? COVID. Before that? The 2008 financial crisis. People feel like something is coming. They just don’t know what.
3. Rates Are Still High—but Not 2023 HighMortgage interest rates are still in the 6.75–7.25% range. But compared to the horror show of late 2023? This feels… manageable. Enough buyers are adapting. And in luxury? All-cash is still king.
4. Regional Breakdown: The South Still LeadsThe South continues to be the most active real estate region in the country, accounting for 43% of home sales in May 2025. Miami? Still scorching. Not every zip code. But the right ones? They’re seeing multiple offers again.
5. Price Segments Matter More Than EverHomes priced between $500K–$750K made up the largest share of sales in May. But the $1M+ segment? Also alive and well—especially in areas where quality homes are rare and ultra-local agents (hello!) know how to position them right.
6. The Condo Comeback? It’s Real.Condo and co-op median prices saw a nearly 7% year-over-year jump. Urban living isn’t dead—it just needed a second wind.
7. This Is Not 2008. This Is Not 2021. It’s Something Else. We’re in a new phase. A data-driven, emotionally uncertain, and geographically split market. That means opportunities for buyers who stay focused—and serious strategy needed for sellers who want top dollar.
Final Thoughts:There’s no one-size-fits-all answer right now. But there are patterns. And if you’re working with someone who understands the market beyond the memes… you can still win.
Whether you’re buying, selling, investing—or just curious—our team has your back. Because we don’t just read the charts… we live them.

If you ever want to buy or sell a property anywhere in the world, our team would be honored to help get you to your next destination.
Until next time, stay curious, stay hungry, and as always…stay ALL IN!
