5 Mistakes Miami Luxury Home Buyers Make 😳

So, you're thinking about buying a luxury home or condo in Miami? You're probably moving from California, the Northeast, or Chicago. Or are you already living in Miami but have never bought a luxury condo or single-family home in Miami? So, what exactly is considered a luxury home in Miami?

Well, it depends on who you ask. For most people in the country, whether an agent or person off the street, the most common answer is $1,000,000. Some say that the top ten percent of the most expensive homes sold are the definition of luxury homes in a market. It doesn't matter. For the sake of this podcast, my definition of a luxury home or condo in Miami is $1,500,000. It has gone up quite a bit since I created this content. Probably closer to $3,000,000 now.

A few years ago, pre-COVID, it seemed to be closer to $1,000,000. But prices have increased dramatically in ALL areas of Miami and surrounding areas. Buying a luxury home in Miami is much different than buying one in other parts of the country. In this video, I share five things that you MUST know before purchasing a luxury home in Miami.
